F.A. Ahmed College, Garoimari has a Students Union constituted each year through voting process. The election to the Students Union is conducted democratically and non-politically as per the Rules and Regulations of Lyngdoh Committee. The students are given a platform to exhibit their democratic behaviour to vote and select their representatives to act as student Ministry. Once the election is over, Students Union is formed with different folios. Against the folios, teacher in-charges are given to instruct them into the right direction. The Students Union looks after the needs of the students. It also acts as a mediator between the students and the College authority in matters concerning the students' community.
